Sent out today was the latest weekly drm-misc-next pull request of new Direct Rendering Manager (DRM) material ready for the upcoming Linux 7.4 merge window.

For end users there isn't too much to get excited about with this week's drm-misc-next pull with just some low-level code improvements and internal changes to the smaller DRM drivers. There is R-Car V4H DSC for the RCar-DU driver and the ssd130x driver has Solomon SSD1351 OLED support for new hardware support this week.

DRM_IVPU_PARAM_CMDQ_PRIORITY

For those making use of Intel's NPUs with Core Ultra SoCs, one new feature landing via the drm-misc-next pull is a new command-queue priority ioctl. The new DRM_IVPU_PARAM_CMDQ_PRIORITY allows for querying and updating the scheduling priority of an existing command queue running on Intel NPUs. The priority can be dynamically changed now for a command queue that already has pending jobs and the NPU firmware should respond at the first opportunity. Useful for any high or low priority workloads running on Intel NPUs.

That's about it though for this week's drm-misc-next pull heading to DRM-Next in time for Linux 7.4.
