Following the public preview of Linux containers on WSL, Microsoft today announced the general availability of WSLC for supporting Linux containers on Windows.

WSLC is now GA for seamlessly supporting Linux containers on Windows with the new wslc.exe command. WSLC is designed to provide strong isolation between sessions/containers, each session having its own storage VHD, and a new networking model compared to WSL.
