History

Notes

• This version of the character is the result of a retcon. Originally, Gamora came from the future where her people were exterminated by the Universal Church of Truth. A later story, also by Jim Starlin, showed her people exterminated by the Badoon and apparently no time travel involved. It was later clarified that the Universal Church of Truth version of events happened in reality of Earth-7528, while the Badoon version took place in Earth-9223, where events were altered by the defeat of Magus and that Gamora's memories of these events have been affected by the changing timelines.
