Okay, good morning. no difference between the two items and no usage of audio podcast (Q24633474): matching description (italian for example like french: podcast in formato audio - podcast au format audio) (programma audio che consiste in una serie di episodi - episode-based audio program)... then, this item (the main one) is described as instance of (P31) audio content genre (Q108676140) so no reason to exist for another one that just repeat audio and is subclass of (P279) GiovanniPen (talk) 15:53, 1 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi GiovanniPen, apologies for dropping the ball on this.

First, Thanks for looking into this − the items around podcasts are a little bit of a mess. It does look like these two items have somewhat converged, but I’m pretty sure they used to be more different, so not sure whether some repurposing happened at some point. I believe podcast show (Q24634210) is (used to be?) used as instance of (P31) and audio podcast (Q24633474) as distribution format (P437). Well we do have video podcast (Q3276244), and as I understand, it and audio podcast (Q24633474) are counterparts − both are -instance of (P31)product distribution method (Q81941037) (which is consistent with the use in distribution format (P437)) Jean-Fred (talk) 12:36, 16 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
