Notified participants of WikiProject Italy Today on Commons I have collected through the new commons:Template:AIB the images coming from DBBI20: commons:Category:Images from AIB - DBBI20 (25 images as of now). On Wikidata there are presently 721 items with DBBI20 (i.e. this property) but without image (P18): see query. A significant part of them have an image in DBBI20 that can be imported to Commons with license CC BY-SA 4.0 (or public domain); a massive import could be worth. --Epìdosis 13:57, 22 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Some updates: after this wide interest for the topic, I wrote (December 2024) to the editor of the DBBI20, Simonetta Buttò, to ask for a download of all the images of DBBI20 - having them as files would be much better than having to scrape the DBBI20 to obtain them. She replied (same month) that she had forwarded the request to the curators of AIB WEB and she was waiting for their response; I asked again in January 2025 and she replied that she was still waiting. I asked again today. In the meanwhile, if someone has an easy way to scrape all the photos starting from the index of the DBBI20, https://www.aib.it/aib/editoria/dbbi20/dbbi20.htm, it could be a quicker solution. --Epìdosis 13:21, 26 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
