ACES DGEMM benchmark with settings of Sustained Floating-Point Rate. openSUSE Tumbleweed was the fastest.

For HPC and scientific computing workloads, Fedora Workstation 44 again dropped to last place.

GROMACS benchmark with settings of Implementation: MPI CPU, Input: water_GMX50_bare. CachyOS was the fastest.
NAMD benchmark with settings of Input: STMV with 1,066,628 Atoms. openSUSE Tumbleweed was the fastest.

OpenSUSE Tumbleweed continued providing nice competition to CachyOS for the out-of-the-box performance in these benchmarks on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 hardware.

Xcompact3d Incompact3d benchmark with settings of Input: Taylor Green Vortices. CachyOS was the fastest.
Xcompact3d Incompact3d benchmark with settings of Input: Turbulent Boundary Layer. CachyOS was the fastest.
7-Zip Compression benchmark with settings of Test: Compression Rating. CachyOS was the fastest.
7-Zip Compression benchmark with settings of Test: Decompression Rating. openSUSE Tumbleweed was the fastest.

Fedora Workstation 44's bizarre performance behavior in some workloads is worth investigating further if/when time allows.
