Colorized Photo

[edit]

For historical accuracy colorizing a photo should be a no no. This is the real Leo, not somebody on an American comedy TV show! — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-19266-41 (talk) 04:50, 28 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

It is not colorized. The original photo, by Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky, was in color. GA-RT-22 (talk) 14:41, 16 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Number of children not matching in the article and the infobox

[edit]

In the article it says Tolstoy has 13 children but it says 14 in the infobox Obunga-is-God (talk) 08:52, 9 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

No, it matches. 13 with his wife and one with one of the serfs on his estate. 14. GA-RT-22 (talk) 12:24, 9 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Oh, my bad, I don't know how I didn't see that Obunga-is-God (talk) 04:03, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Beliefs sections should contain more sub-sections

[edit]

Reading through his diary, it looks like these were core beliefs, which he manifested throughout the diaries:

  • Virtuousness
  • Sex
  • Women

He keeps complaining and beating himself down over his own lack of virtuousness, so clearly the goal was extremely important to him.

He constantly portrays sex as something undesirable, sinful.

He frequently describes women in disrespectful ways (not clear whether he hated them but it is clear he didn't respect them) and shows clearly that he had a pretty low opinion of them. ~2026-53930-65 (talk) 12:26, 6 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
