Liquid Glass uses modern graphics processing units to give the user interface animated glass-like properties, such as translucency and refraction, in real time to allow stacking of user interface elements and maximizing the use of space in crowded displays. It is being introduced in iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26 (Tahoe), tvOS 26, visionOS 26, and watchOS 26.[1][2]
