The Apple Watch SE 3 is the 3rd-generation low-cost smartwatch of the Apple Watch lineup that was announced in a special event on September 9, 2025 to be released on the following September 19th by Apple Inc.[1]
New features[]
The 3rd-generation SE adopts the same Apple S10 processor as the Apple Watch Series 10 and 11 for improved performance. This allows it to support the same double tap and wrist flick gestures though iOS 26. The overall case design is retained from the previous generation, but now features an always-on display and 18-hour battery life. It also includes support for fast charging and optional 5G cellular. Other new features to the SE include wrist temperature sensing, ovulation estimation, and sleep apnea notifications.[2]
