Motivation

•  Question: What do these values actually identify? Is there no formatter URL that will resolve them? In the first example above, the image URL is https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=168951548443095, which suggests an identifier of "168951548443095". The name "sequence ID " seems to imply that a sequence (or set) of images is being referred to; in which case each value would not be a UID for a single image, but for a set. This is supported by c:Category:Photographs of Hof (Saale) from Mapillary (tulzukst7vufhdo1e4z60f), which suggests that the ID should be on the Wikidata item for the category.   Thank you for pinging! Unfortunately, on Mapillary, sequences don't work as "category" like on Commons. There is no single URL for a sequence that contains all photo IDs. This makes also crawling sequence IDs by user so complicated. Every image has a photo ID and is connected to a sequence ID, but there is no https://www.mapillary.com/app/?psequence=tulzukst7vufhdo1e4z60f or so :(. --PantheraLeo1359531 (talk) 12:59, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
