Motivation
[edit]The Geographicus Rare Antique Maps biographical dictionary of cartographers is a growing list of mapmakers covering from the 3rd through the 20th centuries. There are currently more than 3000 biographies present - many of which are the only studies of these individuals available anywhere. They typically add 10 - 15 additional cartographers each week. We have already a donation of the scans of their maps and it would be great if we can link those maps to the creators and the creators to their biography on Geographicus. --Hannolans (talk) 11:38, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
