Motivation
[edit]I want to use this external id for the WikiProject Postcards (Q135181503). CardCow.com is one of the biggest database for vintage postcards in the USA. Weak oppose Primarily, CardCow.com is a commercial sales platform: postcards on sale or already sold categorized by publisher. I don't know if we want to promote such websites – and there are some questionable "publishers", too. --Albinfo (talk) 21:47, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Albinfo: This is correct. But we have also LastDodo (Q110606300) with his own property LastDodo-area-ID (P10419). I think the positive effect of connecting is a good reason. We connect with this website more publisher from USA. Many of this publisher from USA can not be connected by "Lastdodo" or Vintagepostcards-Archive-ID (P13697) or Historical picture postcards University of Osnabrück ID (P13698).
