erronous merge

Grundarfjarðarbær (Q1797966) a town a commune and a fjord are different things, please do not merge these Yger (talk) 04:14, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

I agree that the city and the fjord are two different things. But Grundarfjarðarbær (Q1797966) and Grundarfjörður (Q27014314) are the same thing. They both have the same population, defined by the same region, have the same logo. I fail to see the difference. --Steinninn (talk) 12:48, 30 November 2022 (UTC)

Náttúruvætti

Hi. The item you merged, Q65337079 (Special:PermaLink/1718259771), was specifically for the national protected object designation of Iceland. It has/had e.g. main regulatory text (P92) and CDDA designationTypeCode (P9800) values specific to this national designation. Also the only sitelink, is:Náttúruvætti, links to an article that per its definition is about a type of object protected under Icelandic law. Merge target item protected area (Q473972) on the other hand is for a generic class, not specific to any particular country. Væb

@France3c0 It was you who reverted my edit first without explanation. The band is VÆB. All Icelandic media writes it that way. Also the official Eurovision website. Similar to how ABBA is all caps. Steinninn (talk) 10:15, 2 March 2025 (UTC)

You do not have any source that confirms Væb is an acronym either. It's merely a stylisation as explained on en.wiki. France3c0 (talk) 10:34, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
