If you are asking about the recent comment I made on Lymantria's talk page, I noticed that an Item was recreated after being deleted so I asked the administrator who deleted the first one to have a look and see if the second one met the same criteria for deletion. inappropriate user page, what are you talking about??

How is my user page inappropriate and marked for deletion? I have had this tribute page for years on Portuguese Wikipedia, and admins never bothered. Can you please tell me what rule says that I cannot have a personal page like mine? Thanks! - Sabotage2000 (talk) 06:31, 30 July 2025 (UTC)

Deleting information

Hello, I am not sure why you are deleting my addition: Acceptance and Integration Training® (AAIT™). It has not been added yet. HeatherFinney (talk) 22:38, 4 September 2025 (UTC)

To be clear, I have not deleted Q136040123 and I am not able to delete any item (only site administrators can do that and I am not one). However, I have listed it at Wikidata:Requests for deletions where an administrator can review it and decide if it meets site guidelines. I believe it is promotional in nature and probably does not meet notability requirements for inclusion. It seems to me that your only purpose here, and that of your colleague Mary Vaishnavi Roberson (talk • contribs • logs), is solely to promote yourselves and organizations you are affiliated with, and that is entirely inappropriate and contrary to the purpose of Wikidata. Dear Marbletan. You will see I'm not really connected to the AAIT item. I am not a practitioner of the technique. Rather, I was a founding member of the board of a non profit (AIA) that has as it's mission to train mental health providers by providing scholarships to providers for under served populations. It is three years old now and quite successful. I have now moved off the board but continue to volunteer. I am 76 years old and mostly retired. I really do not need to promote myself in the way that has been suggested. My little business lost money last year, for example, and is on track to do so again. Frankly I do not want a ton of business.

I had a long and successful career. Not everything about me is even entered - as you can see if you check my LinkedIn account, which I have listed as a reference. I was going to put my honors, awards, grants, publications in but haven't gotten around to it.

What I do now in my life is mostly out of a sense of service. I'm not searching for fame or money. You may be able to tell from my entries, I'm quite the spiritual person. Someone suggested I put myself in Wikidata and I did. As I went through the steps, I felt proud that I was contributing to the database on topics, items, that will surely be of interest to people searching on AI - as I am informed that interest in such topics is rising here in the US and in Europe. Entries related to my current and past endeavors open a new area of information to the database. New occupations, modern names of field of work, and more. One of my teachers who has authored books wasn't in there already. Etc. I guess those items will stay - so my service will not be for nothing. But bottom line is - I think I deserve to be listed as an item in Wikidata - especially when I enter my publications, etc. Mary Vaishnavi Roberson (talk) 13:40, 5 September 2025 (UTC)

there are no spam links or self promotion links. links connected to ‘occupation’ are verified and published entities.
