I guess what you are saying is that this BOT is currently operational? If so I have a more specific question:

More than 10 years ago Dexbot was used to add new English Wikiquote pages to WD. Is it still supposed to do that? If not, why not? Cheers,

Hi Amir, according to this record Dexbot deleted the redirect to User:ThT, because I preferred to use the mirrored Wikimedia global user page. Could you please find a way to prevent tis happening again? Thanks in advance, --Thomas Tunsch (talk) 17:37, 24 May 2025 (UTC)

@Thomas Tunsch Hi, you should actually do the redirect in meta and leave the local redirect deleted. That way it'd work everywhere. If you need to override it in any wiki, you can just create the page locally but the status quo is redirecting to a non-existent page and if my bot doesn't delete it another bot eventually will. What's going on with "Palestinian Enclaves" and "The Cantons Plan", huh

You created Q6641552 which is only attached to Hebrew Wikipedia article תכנית הקנטונים. English Wikipedia article Palestinian enclaves (Q102235335) is also attached to this Hebrew article. I don't know how. Are those items supposed to be related? Identical? הראש (talk) 20:39, 28 August 2025 (UTC)

@הראש Yes, it was created by a bot mass importing articles of Hebrew Wikipedia 12 years ago. I have no idea how it should be handled. Please talk to the local community. Amir (talk) 21:50, 28 August 2025 (UTC)

ruwikinews DB size

Hi Amir! I was asked to write a report on the ruwikinews cleanup both of us were a part of. I was wondering if you perhaps could give me some stats on the ruwikinews database like the ones in phab:T403397? Namely, total DB size and the number of rows left in the externallinks table. Thanks. @AtUkr. Hi, the total number of rows in externallinks table is 6,402,929. On the size of it. The table is 17GB now. All of ruwikinews is now 93GB but I haven't optimized the tables yet.
