National Guard

[edit]

For National Guard of the United States (Q928670), organisations can be subclasses of things, we can use part of (P361) for their organisational hierarchy, but there is no reason not to use subclass of (P279) to indicate their functional form.

You want to be able to query all military units that are militias.Vicarage (talk) 10:53, 28 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

An instance of an organization can never be a class. EyuOrg (talk) 16:27, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Escalated to Wikidata:Project_chat#Can_an_organisation_have_a_subclass_statement. Please don't change the statement again until the issue is resolved. Vicarage (talk) 16:37, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Please don't insert your personal view without evidence. EyuOrg (talk) 16:39, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Why are you doing reverts when I explicitly asked you not to? As a new user, perhaps you are unaware you are breaking Wikidata social norms? Please restore the item to the status quo. Vicarage (talk) 16:50, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Why do you vandalize again and again when it is explained to you that what you did can never be correct?
I reverted , since you vandalized the Wikidata dataset. EyuOrg (talk) 16:57, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not sensible if you repeatedly insert the same false statement. EyuOrg (talk) 17:03, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
I was hoping to discuss your initial change civilly. It is a WD convention that a disputed change is left in the state before the change until the discussion is complete. Vicarage (talk) 17:12, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
The false claim was your initial change, not mine. EyuOrg (talk) 17:14, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
So it was, 6 months, and 100000 of my changes ago. Vicarage (talk) 17:16, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
