I am Hamidu Rukaya (User: Ruky Wunpini), the logistics manager for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. My role involves coordinating activities and supporting our initiatives to promote the Dagbani language and culture. I proudly serve as a co-facilitator for the Dagbani Wikimedians' tele-education program on TV, called "Dagbani Wikipedia Saha," which aims to increase awareness and content creation in our language.
In addition, I am honored to be one of the jury members for the Parliament of Ghana writing contest organized by our group, where I help recognize and encourage emerging writers.
As a dedicated Digital Language Activist, I am passionate about preserving, documenting, and promoting our indigenous languages. I actively contribute to various Wikimedia projects, including Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikivoyage, to help expand knowledge and access.
With a professional background in teaching and management, I am committed to community development through volunteering. I also work with other local organizations here in Tamale, striving to make a positive impact. Currently, I have the privilege of serving as a regional proxy for Black Lunch Table in Ghana, working to amplify diverse voices through art and dialogue.
