Because it is logical to have property "country" for all geographical (administrative) entities. And in this case there will be no temptation to add wrong value. --Infovarius (talk) 11:21, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

Guernsey: which one?

• 1. The bailiwick?
• 2. The jurisdiction within the bailiwick? (suitable for located in the administrative territorial entity (P131) )
• 3. The island? (suitable for located in/on physical feature (P706) )
• 4. ..

There are the following items:

• A. Q23197275 (which seems to be about 1)
• B. Q25230 (this item, which has statements mostly about 1, sitelinks in various languages seem to be about 2/3 or 1).
• C. Q3311985 (which seems to be about 3)

I suggest that we merge A and B and make a new item for (2). We could also use C for 2 and 3.

Currently there is some duplication as P31=Crown Dependencies (Q185086) is applied to several above.

In that case, I think it can work for you. P17 would have (1). P131 either (2) or one of the parishes.
