Devuan Is Still Moving Along As A Debian Fork Without Systemd

A status report on Devuan was issued this week that provides a glimpse at what's going on. The project now has its own Git server, the build infrastructure is being setup, the package repository is being established, and work is already being done on avoiding systemd dependencies. Among the packages being worked on already to avoid systemd include ConsoleKit2, UDisks2, PolicyKit-1, and PCSC-Lite.
There's also been other progress on the distribution shared so if you're interested in this Debian fork that's looking to avoid systemd, read the Debuan.org status report.
