Ubuntu Shows Off Progress In Convergence Mode

Written by Michael Larabel in Ubuntu on 12 February 2014 at 10:54 AM EST. 13 Comments

Curious how Ubuntu's "convergence mode" is working out for having an application written against their SDK running across phones, tablets, and desktops? Here's a video demonstration.

Jono Bacon has posted a video this week showing a Reddit client written against the Ubuntu SDK and the single code-base playing nicely on both a tablet and phone running Ubuntu Touch with the latest SDK. Expect more Ubuntu SDK apps to be written and ready for convergence ahead of Ubuntu 14.10 later in the year.
