Frugalware 2.0 Released For Intermediate Linux Users

Version 2.0 of the Frugalware Linux distribution is now available, the operating system originally inspired by Slackware that since moved on to being an independent distribution using Pacman.

The Frugalware 2.0 release adds in MATE Desktop Environment support (v1.8.1), is riding on the rather dated Linux 3.14 kernel series, features KDE 4.14.3 / GNOME 3.12.2 / Xfce 4.10.1 / LXDE 0.99.0 desktop options, and has Firefox 35 / Chromium 39 for web browsers.
