Chrome OS Keyboard Backlight LEDs Will Be Supported By Linux 4.7

The Chrome platform driver updates were sent in on the last day of the Linux 4.7 kernel merge window.

New to the Chrome platform code in Linux 4.7 is keyboard backlight support via a new driver for ACPI-based keyboard backlight LEDs found on Chromebooks. This driver was submitted by Simon Que of Google for allowing the keyboard backlight LEDs to be controlled on Chrome OS systems via the mainline kernel.

This Chrome platform code also has some EC changes, Elan touchpad changes, and other minor work. More details via this pull request.
