SmackDown 1000: The Evolution reunion was a tease for a Triple H vs. Batista match
During the reunion of Evolution this week on SmackDown, Triple H, Randy Orton, Ric Flair and finally Batista got his chance to speak on the mic. The returning former world champion at first appeared nervous when speaking to the live crowd in his hometown of Washington, D.C.
Batista spoke about three major talking points in an emotional promo that hit all the right notes. When it looked like The Animal was done speaking, he instead pivoted and called out Triple H for never defeating him.
What a return for Batista.
Does this lead to the longer rumored, Triple H vs. Batista feud? Possibly at WrestleMania 35?
