Fearless: A Fascinating Story of Secret Medieval Spies
Centuries passed, before the fascinating tales of mstovari were finally uncovered, revealing to the world warriors dedicated to covert operations, subterfuge and clairvoyance. This is a book telling their story.
The volume, originally published in Georgian as “History of Espionage in Georgia”, is merely the first part of planned books on the subject matter at hand. It focuses primarily on the “Georgian Golden Age”- the reign of the King David IV “the Builder”(1073-1125) and his great granddaughter, the magnificent Queen Tamar (c. 1160-1210). The era can be aptly characterized as the “The Golden Age of Georgian Espionage” and “The Golden Age of Georgian Kingdom” as well.
