Custom config misleading example

In the 3.2.1 #Example section it says to create a custom yaml file with the simplified Chinese characters chosen as default. However, if following this guide precisely and creating the yaml file ONLY containing the specified lines, it doesn't overwrite this specific setting, but overrides the whole "switches" field.

This seems misleading to me. Possible solutions would be to either

1. Specifically mention that such option overrides the default one in full, or
2. Paste the whole default config with this specific switch changed.
