Description

Twelve friends gather at Daisy's apartment for an improvised sleepover — a special forces captain just back from deployment, her childhood friend from the family farm, a samba dancer, an Argentine activist, a former K-pop idol, two engineers, a lawyer, an athlete, an influencer, and a mother and daughter who never miss one of these nights. They drink too much, they dance, and they fall asleep certain that tomorrow will be an ordinary day.

At six in the morning someone knocks at the door, and Polycity is already gone. The outbreak was not an accident: behind it stands The Labs, a shadow organization that sells security and progress in public while turning entire populations into testing grounds.

There is no time to dress. The women step out into a burning city in the underwear and thin pyjamas they went to sleep in, and try to make it to the end of the day.
