A social media content creator and mobile shop owner in Tripura was arrested for allegedly raping a tribal woman. He reportedly lured her to Agartala with the promise of an iPhone, then took her to a hotel and assaulted her. The accused also allegedly stole her phone and threatened her before her escape and subsequent complaint.
Tripura government mandates 50% of Group C and D employees work from home, effective immediately, following Prime Minister Modi's fuel conservation appeal. Departments must create weekly rosters, ensuring alternate attendance. Remote staff must remain reachable for urgent tasks. This directive excludes essential services personnel and applies to PSUs and local bodies.
