Share tabs in Chrome

When you browse with Chrome, you can share tabs with people and across your devices.
Share tabs with others
  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Go to the page you want to share.
  3. Select More and then Cast, save, and share.
  4. Choose how you want to share the page.
Share tabs with yourself

You can send tabs from one device to another without losing your spot or what you’ve already typed.

Before you can send a tab to another device:

  • Sign in to Chrome with the same Google Account on both devices.

Follow steps

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Go to the tab you want to share.
  3. Select More and then Cast, save, and share and then Send to your devices.
    • You can also go to any page, right-click on the tab or page, then select Send to your devices.
  4. Select a device.
  5. If you’re sharing your tab with your phone and your notifications are turned on, you will get a notification that a tab was shared. The tab will also open automatically in Chrome on your chosen device.
Share tabs with a QR Code

You can create a QR (quick response) Code to share a tab from Chrome with others.

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Go to the page you want to share.
  3. Select More and then Cast, save, and share and then Create QR code .
  4. You can choose to:
    • Copy the QR link.
    • Select Download to download the QR code.
    • Scan the QR code with another device's camera.
