IC 298B, also known as Arp 147b or PGC 11890, is an elliptical galaxy located approximately 444 million light-years away in the constellation, Cetus. It is a smooth-ring like galaxy that is part of the Arp 147 galaxy pair. It is currently colliding with IC 298A, which in the process formed its blue, broken ring shape. It has a magnitude of 15.38.[1]
