IC 1947, also known as PGC 13027, is a seyfert II spiral galaxy located approximately 509 million light-years away in the constellation Horologium. Itis known for its appearance in the HST image of spiral galaxies like NGC 1356 or PGC 95415. It is the closest of its area to the Milky Way.[1][2]
