Lincolnshire (/ˈlɪŋkənʃər/ or /ˈlɪŋkənʃɪər/; abbreviated Lincs) is a county in the east of England. It borders Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Rutland, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, the East Riding of Yorkshire, and (for just 19 metres or 20 yards, England's shortest county boundary) Northamptonshire. Its county town is the ancient city of Lincoln.

The county is mainly rural, with a rough population of 1,120,000 in 2024. It has several towns, such as its main city of Lincoln or the port towns of Grimsby and Boston, Lincolnshire. Despite having a low population compared to other counties, Lincolnshire is the second largest in England and the largest in the Midlands. Part of its border is formed by the river Trent.
