Hey Elena, I've tested this on testwiki and the patch on this task appears to have fixed the layout issue. I believe this will resolve this ticket and T438532 as well.

@KStoller-WMF I see the instrument is setup and running on Growthbook. Is there any reason to keep this ticket open or can it be resolved?

I've noted that images were added to the menu but the padding is still pending. I've noted this in the design review list in the description of T436872 where it will be fixed and followed up from.
