WMDE Technical Wishes is a joint project between community members and Wikimedia Deutschland, improving MediaWiki features based on our biennial Technical Wishes survey. We're now launching a series of regular discovery sessions in 2026 in order to continuously learn more about current community needs and wishes for the future.

For legal reasons, participants must be at least 18 years old. Participation is compensated. See our privacy statement on how we're processing your data.

Interview time slots are available every second Wednesday at 6:30–7:15 am UTC, 7:45–8:30 am UTC, 9:00–9:45 am UTC, 1:45–2:30 pm UTC and 3:15–4:00 pm UTC, beginning September 2. We've also added time slots every second Tuesday designated for newcomer / inexperienced editors.
