Mike + The Mechanics è il primo album dei Mike + The Mechanics, uscito nel 1985. L'album raggiunse la posizione 26 nella classifica Billboard 200.
Furono estratti tre singoli: Silent running, All I Need Is a Miracle e Taken In. I primi due entrarono nella top ten delle classifiche negli Stati Uniti.
La canzone A call to arms era stata scritta dai Genesis ma non fu inclusa nel loro album omonimo del 1983 e fu completata e sviluppata da Mike e il resto della band. Par avion appare nell'episodio Dollari del telefilm Miami Vice.
