Childish Gambino e Kacey Musgraves sono stati gli artisti più premiati dell'edizione con quattro riconoscimenti, tra cui Musgraves è stata premiata nella catagoria album dell'anno per Golden Hour. I premi per la canzone dell'anno e registrazione dell'anno sono stati vinti da This Is America di Childish Gambin, rendendolo il primo rapper a vincere nella stessa edizione in entrambe le categorie.
