Drop the unused command receiver immediately in `next_event_surfaces_lagged_markers`. Keeping it alive lets `shutdown()` enqueue a command that nobody handles, causing it to wait for the response timeout before completing. GitOrigin-RevId: ce9e13b6f097d4545517ed465c1d3e2343c3d4da
