can you please provide the source for the new dates? |

I found https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/301489/faq-end-of-support-for-photon-os-on-vcen.html which is for vCenter Given that this is PR is filed and approved by Broadcom folks, I wouldn't mind merging (with a ref back to this PR as an edit), but I'd still prefer an upstream link if possible. So far the best we have is the 5.0 announcement, which is what the existing docs point to and use as EOL. Your customers will much prefer a trustworthy update on the Photon Wiki/Blog/Site as well. |

@captn3m0 @hebbet Thanks for the review. Photon OS support timelines are aligned with VCF appliances (vSphere in the past). Updated dates are mentioned here: We've just recently EOL'ed Photon OS 3.0 and extended 4.0 support till 2027-10-11. Photon Wiki/Blog will be also updated/released. |

The northdoor site is also third-party and doesn't mention Photon either. I'll update the text tomorrow to link to this PR and merge. Do let us know once the official docs are updated. |
Small reminder for @captn3m0. |
Adds citation back to the PR, and links to the vcenter page as well.

Thank you and congratulations for your first contribution! endoflife.date is a community wiki, and we're always looking for more contributions 🥇 💯 🎉. |
These are actual Photon OS 3.0/4.0 EOL dates aligned with vSphere 7.x/8.x general support timelines.
