sea apple (plural sea apples)

  1. A round, colourful sea cucumber of the genera Paracucumaria and Paracolochirus, found primarily in Indo-Pacific waters.
  2. (obsolete) A sea urchin.
  3. The fruit of a West Indian palm (Manicaria plukenetii ⇒ ) Manicaria saccifera, often found floating in the sea.

  4. A troolie palm; any member of the species Syzygium grande of trees, that can reach 30 m, found along the coastal mountains of Southeast Asia or its fruit.
