Add topic| I currently have limited and unpredictable time for on-wiki participation, and this will be the case for the foreseeable future. I will get email notification for messages left on my talk page and will try to follow up on such when circumstances permit, but regular pings and notifications are unlikely to be noticed any time soon. |

DjVu requests for 1930 books
[edit]Would you would have the time to render another batch of DjVu files?
All of these books are US publications, and should be loaded at Commons. All are by US authors, and all but one of these are Newbery honored books that were published in 1930, and so have entered the public domain this year. For each item, I have included the IA or Hathi link, a suggested Commons file name, and a suggested Commons category so that the files will not be flagged as uncategorized.

- Garram the Hunter
Ood-le-uk the Wanderer

- The Defender
- This one was published in 1951 and is PD because copyright was not renewed.
As always, much appreciation if you do have the time and can provide the requested files. --EncycloPetey (talk) 23:55, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
- @EncycloPetey: Sorry for the slow response time. The IA ones are done, but HathiTrust has implemented some faffery to prevent mass download of their scans so those will have to wait until I figure out a way around it (which may not be any time soon). Xover (talk) 10:23, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
- The IA Downloader tool works, I have found, if you want to get the full work as a PDF. --EncycloPetey (talk) 14:17, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
Yet another fix at MediaWiki talk:Gadget-PageNumbers-core.js
[edit]... And this time the edit request isn't even mine, for a change :). (It's about page title encoding.) I've looked it over and it LGTM. — Alien 3
