Everyone loves Disney, but how is this BLP notable? There's not even one citation for significant coverage: interviews don't count. I won't prod it; that would be controversial. But it really needs at least four reliable sources, or to be sent to WP:AfD. Thank you in advance. Bearian (talk) 19:15, 3 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

The Simpsons at FAR

[edit]

I have nominated The Simpsons for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured article criteria, or help improve the article. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" in regard to the article's featured status (see review instructions). Mickey's Revue release date

[edit]

You are invited to join the discussion at Talk:Goofy § Mickey's Revue released on the 27th. I would appreciate a second opinion on the sourcing for the May 25 versus May 27, 1932 release date. Issac I Navarro (talk) 18:23, 18 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Disney television films 1967–1982

[edit]

Hi. I’m working on a project to document Disney television films from roughly 1967 through 1982 that currently have no Wikipedia coverage. I’ve been researching original broadcasts, source books, filming locations, cast and crew, music, and contemporary newspaper coverage where I can find it.

I have several drafts in AfC and more in progress. Some have been declined for notability or sourcing, which I understand may simply mean stronger independent sources are needed. A few have also raised LLM concerns. I have been using a simple, consistent article structure across the project, so I’m wondering if the repetitive format may be part of what is triggering that.

I’m still relatively new to this and would really appreciate help from people with more experience in Disney or television articles. I’m happy to do the legwork and track down sources. What I’m hoping for is some guidance on which films have a realistic path to standalone articles, what sources would make the biggest difference, and how I should approach the drafts so I’m not just repeatedly submitting them and getting declined.

I have worked on 40 articles so far.

• 5 have been approved

• 9 have been declined

• 10 are drafted but not submitted

• 16 are waiting for review

I do understand that some of these films may simply never have enough independent coverage for a standalone article, and I’m fine being told that. I’m really looking for advice on which ones do have a realistic path and what I can do to get those over the finish line. From one Disney fan to another, I’d really appreciate any guidance.

If anyone here is interested in this period of Disney television and would be willing to look at a few of the drafts, I will be happy to provide links. Or, please feel free to check them out through my username. I would really appreciate it.
