Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Harvard Crimson cheerleaders

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Category:Harvard Crimson cheerleaders indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 00:52, 19 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Reviews and ratings

[edit]

Hi there, Willthacheerleader18. I noticed that quite a number of your recent articles had not been reviewed or rated. I've now tried to bring everything up to date as you can see from your X-tools page here. Thank you in particular for all the women's biographies you have contributed. Please let me know if your future articles remain unreviewed for more than a couple of weeks. There's unfortunately a huge backlog at the moment. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 11:44, 22 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Princess Gisela of Liechtenstein

[edit]

According to the history of this article Princess Gisela of Liechtenstein you added the sentence about her role als a «Vatican officials». Obviously that is not correct. Recently we got an email from the Fürstenhof, in which two errors are described:

  • Die im Beitrag beschriebene Person, I.D. Prinzessin Gisela von und zu Liechtenstein, ist nicht «a Vatican official» --> diese Bezeichnung ist unzutreffend. Sie wurde zusammen mit anderen Mitgliedern als Laienmitglied in den Wirtschaftsrat des Heiligen Stuhls berufen (in Englisch: the Council for the Economy of The Holy See). Laienmitglieder sind keine «Vatican officials».
  • Im Weiteren führt der Beitrag aus, dass die beschriebene Person ins «Secretariat for the Economy» berufen wurde. --> diese Nennung ist unzutreffend. Sie wurde in "Council of the Economy of The Holy See" berufen. Das "Secretariat for the Economy" ist ein gänzlich anderer Bereich.

As the chapter responsible for the Principality of Liechtenstein, we would ask you to look into the matter and correct these errors. Thank you very much. Ulrich Lantermann (WMCH) (talk) 10:34, 1 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Ulrich Lantermann (WMCH): Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have made the applicable changes. Please let me know if there are any other issues. Tschüss! -- Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 13:38, 1 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Great! Thank you for your immediate contribution. In the meantime, our Liechtenstein subscriber mentioned an other issue as is "Ein Punkt ist noch offen, bei dem – auch im Sinne von Wikipedia als wesentliche Informationsquelle – eine korrekte Information wichtig wäre: She is a second cousin once removed of Hans-Admin II, Prince of Liechtenstein. He writes that it should be called a niece of a more distant degree. Added to this is the explanation that it is evident from their years of birth alone that she cannot be a second cousin of His Serene Highness Prince Hans-Adam II → Her Royal Highness Princess Gisela von und zu Liechtenstein was born in 1990, whilst His Serene Highness Prince Hans-Adam II von und zu Liechtenstein was born in 1945. Could I ask you to check and implement this correction as well? That way, we’ll have slightly more precise information about the Fürstenhof in Liechtenstein until the next generation comes along … I would appreciate your understanding. We in the Swiss Chapter are generally unable to make any changes to the content of the articles. Ulrich Lantermann (WMCH) (talk) 06:35, 5 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Ulrich Lantermann (WMCH): As a Swiss person myself, I am happy to help! In regards to the relation between Gisela and Hans Adam II, the provided source states: "Among the new laypeople is Princess Gisela, 36, is the younger daughter of Prince Michael of Liechtenstein and Hildegard Berta Peters. (Prince Michael is the son of Archduchess Elisabeth of Austria, the youngest daughter of Charles I of Austria, the the last Emperor of Austria.) She is far down in the line of succession; Gisela is the second cousin once removed of Hans-Adam II, the reigning Prince of Liechtenstein", which is why that is in the article. But upon searching up the family tree, it appears the Town & Country reporter is mistaken. I will just remove the sentence on relation to the sovereign all together, as it doesn't add much to the article anyway and clearly the entire princely house is related. -- Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 13:53, 5 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Autopatrol granted

[edit]

Hi Willthacheerleader18, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Kj cheetham (talk) 12:19, 1 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your contributions to Russell Memorial C.M.E. Church. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Dclemens1971 (talk) 14:46, 1 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
