[edit]

I note that you've been warned before about disruptive editing. It is disruptive to continue to perform an edit that does not have consensus after being asked to stop. You know that the dates in the infobox were discussed on your talk page and at template talk. You should not be performing edits that you know to be contentious. Celia Homeford (talk) 09:46, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

It is per WP:INFOBOXBLOAT. For example, this edit here from Nicholas II are excessively detailed. @Mellk: any questions regarding this edit? Absolutiva 09:51, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
There is no bloat. It is a single line in the infobox, in either version. Celia Homeford (talk) 09:59, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Has there been any discussion before regarding OS/NS dates in the infobox? Mellk (talk) 10:06, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
See discussion at Template talk:Infobox person#Old Style and New Dates in infoboxes. Absolutiva 10:10, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. In this case the date should probably be given in the Julian calendar. Is it not possible to include a footnote? Mellk (talk) 10:25, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes, if necessary. Unlike George Washington has footnote for dates given in the Julian calendar for the infobox. Absolutiva 10:28, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
BTW, INFOBOXBLOAT is an essay. It is an opinion piece, not community policy or guidance. The official community-approved guideline is at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers#Julian and Gregorian calendars: "Dates after 4 October 1582 in a place where the Julian calendar was observed should be given in the Julian calendar.". Information icon Hello! I noticed that you removed a hatnote from Ali Khamenei and your edit summary didn't seem to make sense. I assume this was just a mistake, so I restored it. For reference, see Wikipedia:Content removal. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. All the best — W.andrea (talk) 12:22, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

it is per WP:NOTAMB, since "Khamenei" is currently a redirect for family article. Absolutiva 21:13, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Reverting edits

[edit]

You can hide and blank all the warnings on your talk page you want but your edits are disruptive and next time you will be taken to WP:ANI and blocked if you continue. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 23:11, 9 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

What, I just trying to make things right as per WP:COPYEDIT guideline, not to revert them. Absolutiva 23:14, 9 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
You are not looking at your edits at all and have been warned multiple times. Whenever you are warned you simply revert the warning from your talk page in a very clear attempt to hide the edit. This edit of yours was full of errors and is completely disruptive. You obviously did not WP:PREVIEW OR check after you hit save or you would have seen the giant red errors for both the birth and death dates, which make no sense, not to mention the breaking of the citizenship among other issues. Additionally an edit summary of just clarification does NOT sufficiently explain your edits. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 23:21, 9 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Additionally citing nothing but see MOS (a huge page) does not adequately explain why you are removing numerous images from pages. Once again your edits are disruptive. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 00:38, 10 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
But I tried to copyedit per MOS for text, images, and infoboxes. Therefore, it is my job to do as explained per MOS:IMAGERELEVANCE, MOS:CONTEXTBIO, MOS:IBP, and so on. Absolutiva 00:44, 10 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I'm the only legitimate account for one in-a-half years. Previously, I used IP address for several times, but now temporary accounts. There are many active discussions (e.g. requested moves), so I cannot edit extended-confirmed pages (while I'm using temporary accounts for any contentious topics area). But I requested rights permissions like Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Pending changes reviewer, as well as Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Rollbacker for vandalism. Absolutiva 22:08, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you:
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. voorts (talk/contributions) 23:41, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@NinjaRobotPirate: Please disable my autoblock. Absolutiva 22:15, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
You are blocked directly, not autoblocked. 331dot (talk) 22:15, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
It's been hard to unblock for several years since while I'm blocked and I'm using temporary accounts. please disable autoblock. Absolutiva 22:17, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
This account is blocked directly, not just autoblocked. (there may be an autoblock, but that is not the main concern) This account has been technically linked to another account with private technical evidence(that even I can't see). If technical evidence has led to the wrong conclusion, you need to provide a plausible explanation as to how. 331dot (talk) 09:05, 12 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
