I had a question about the picture of the Fandom logo that shows at the top of the new Discussions layout. Is the image able to be changed at all to match the Wiki's logo, or is this not possible? Thank you so much!
Yes, I noticed this on the Die of Death fandom and ofcourse, my own wiki for some reason
I have no idea but is FANDOM also trying to actively update them or will there be a day where they get updates lowkey
Hello there! I am the Bureaucrat for the Greenville, Wisconsin Wiki, and I was wondering how I could make these social media icons appear in an infobox template, such as the one displayed in the picture below, which was taken on the Roblox Wiki.
What is the specific code(s), and where exactly would I need to insert this code? Thank you so much!
I need to decide a light theme but I can't
Can someone help?
hello! i am not new to editing or coding but this has me confused. i'm working on building a wiki from the ground up and im yanking some common.css styling for the `mainbox` styling on the main page of the wiki from a wiki that i am a content mod on. this is what i am trying to replicate: [see images at the bottom]
(both the rounded corners, and the background colour OF the header + the second colour strip that the text sits on)
i have common.css perms on both wiki and have just strictly copy and pasted both the template it comes from and the common.css on BOTH wikis. what i'm confused about is why it isn't working.
the code in the template that makes it do what it does is this:
div class="mainbox">
Announcements
here is what i am trying to replicate:
note that i don't care for the colours, just the styling, as i can do the colouring on my own. i also do not care for the background because i know how to replicate that as well.
i am super struggling with this, so any help is appreciated!
wiki who's css i'm pulling from: https://warden-roblox.fandom.com/wiki/MediaWiki.Common.css
template that i want to replicate the header of:https://warden-roblox.fandom.com/wiki/Template:Main-top
Is there any way we can go back to the old UI on wikis? Me and a few other users dislike the current wiki UI, especially in the Discussions section of the wiki. If this doesn’t exist, is there any way to implement it?
So, recently I turned into an active editor at LEGO Minecraft Wiki, and I was wondering how to add a custom font to the wiki, just like how Diary of a Wimpy Kid Wiki has its own Wimpy Kid fonts. And I'll keep the answer in mind for the future, because I can't adopt the Lego Minecraft Wiki yet.
Heya! I was recently editing my new wiki when I noticed this clock next to the navbar in some of the wikis I visit. I know from experience that it isn't there by default for all wikis, but I am really interested in adding this feature to my Wiki if possible. I am really inexperienced when it comes to maintaining my own wikis, so any help from anyone is appreciated! :]
Example of the clock taken from the Dandy's World Fanon wiki compared to one taken from my own wiki without the clock:
So I recently updated my wiki’s favicon but no favicon will show up on articles and it will still show the old one on Discussions.
What are Fandom trying to do? They moved Edit button and dropdown to somewhere else that is even not familiar to use. And where is the top caregories?
More context for other dropdowns:
Hi everyone !! I’m a mod at Midnight Dreamers and I’ve been wanting to customize the standard infobox for my character pages to add things such as status, age, zodiac sign etc. how can I do that? I’ve been losing my mind over this
Please fandom I need this
Trying to distinguish the tabs in my infobox, however as you can see in the picture the background colour doesn't reach the end of the row which is Awkward. is there a way to fix this?

(also wondering if there is a way to change just the background colour of the image(s) without changing the rest of the background)
How to make sure you have three separate fonts for Headings, subheadings, and body text? I know there are ways to make fonts for headings and subheadings, but what if I want three separate fonts?
(Sorry, this is a bit long)
I'm the bureaucrat over at the Avril Lavigne Wiki, and on the infoboxes used for albums and singles, the coding is set to include the cover of the previous and next releases, along with pre-made templates and parameters to fill in the blank and add the corresponding template. With the infobox code, the cover template only needs the file name. It was like that when I adopted the wiki.
But recently, I have been starting to weed out duplicate photos and I renamed some of the album pics and put the new file name onto the templates, and another user pointed out an error in the album template. It seems to acknowledge the file name, but the cover used for the template is not showing the pic, just the coding. I haven't changed that part of the template code, but I tried changing some of the templates to test it, but it did nothing. Only some of them still work, probably because I haven't changed those ones yet.
I want to add a character page to my wiki that looks something like this or this but I can't find an existing template I want or. Are there any existing templates that have these types character layouts but circle boarders around the character images? And if not, how would I begin to figure out how to create something like that? I'm entirely new to coding and I'm struggling with understanding the written guides. Any videos that could help?
Is there a way to make the color of a page template change to match Light and Dark mode for accessibility?
https://spd.fandom.com/wiki/Super_Planet_Dolan_Wikia
On Light, the dark blue text looks perfect, but TotallyWitch informed me after I adopted the wiki that on Dark mode it is nearly illegible, and violates Fandom's accessibility policies. I would love to fix this, but cannot find a color that would help for both themes.
If not, I'd love to hear of colors that would be perfect for accessibility.
Thanks!
I would like to know how to change my wiki's font. Like, the whole font itself, not just one page or Smth ^^ Thank you in advance <33
