Si crees que hay alguna foto en Commons lo suficientemente atractiva como para estar entre las imágenes destacadas, entonces por favor inclúyela en la lista de candidaturas editando este enlace. Si hay consenso general después de 10 días, la imagen se transferirá a imágenes destacadas.

Crear una nueva nominación

Paso 1: copia el nombre de la imagen y pégalo en este cuadro (incluyendo el prefijo Image: ), cuando ya hayas pegado el nombre de la imagen, por ejemplo: Commons:Featured picture candidates/Image:EL-NOMBRE-DE-TU-IMAGEN.JPG. Haz clic en el botón crear nueva nominación.


Paso 2: Sigue las instrucciones que verás en la página para rellenar los campos de información de tu imagen.

Paso 3: Manualmente inserta un enlace a la página que has creado sobre tu imagen arriba del todo en Commons:Featured picture candidates/candidate list: Haz clic aquí, y añade la siguiente línea ARRIBA en la página de nominaciones:

Para votar puedes usar las siguientes plantillas:

Puedes indicar que una imagen no puede ser destacada con {{FPX|razón}}, donde en razón explicas los motivos claramente por los que no puede ser destacada.

Por favor explica brevemente porque estas a favor o en contra de la nominación de esa imagen, especialmente cuando votes en contra.

Puedes hacer comentarios en el idioma que quieras, aunque más vale tener en cuenta el hecho de que la mayor parte de los usuarios hablan inglés.

Reglas

  • Hay 9 días de deliberaciones. Se decide el resultado al día 10 después de la nominación.
  • Los usuarios anónimos pueden proponer candidatas.
  • Los usuarios anónimos pueden participar en la discusión.
  • Los votos de usuarios anónimos no cuentan.
  • Una nominación no cuenta automáticamente como un voto. Debes expresar tu apoyo de forma explícita.

La candidata se convertirá en una imagen destacada a condición de:

  • estar bajo una licencia libre (por supuesto)
  • que haya un mínimo de siete votos a favor
  • que la proporción de votos a favor / en contra sea al menos 2/1 (o sea, una mayoría de dos tercios o 67%)
  • si a partir del quinto día, la candidatura tiene al menos diez votos a favor y ninguno en contra, automáticamente será destacada (regla del quinto día)

Cassini captured the 30 frames required to construct this mosaic on 23 July 2008, from a distance of about a million kilometers. About a year before Saturn's equinox, the ring shadows have shifted from where they were early in Cassini's mission to a fat arc a little above the equator.

To keep it factual: UN General Assembly Resolution 68/262 stated that the 2014 referendum had no validity as a basis for changing Crimea's status and reaffirmed Ukraine's territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders. In April 2014, Putin himself acknowledged that Russian servicemen had supported the Crimean self-defence forces. Subsequent UN resolutions have explicitly referred to Crimea as temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory. These documented facts show that describing Crimea as occupied territory is grounded in international law and documented history, rather than being merely a political proclamation. I realise this discussion is primarily about photography, but I believe it is also legitimate to clarify the historical facts when they are brought into question. The cited UN General Assembly Resolution does not provide any historical facts, nor does it present a documented history. It reads as a declaration, or a short assessment at best. Yes, some 10,000 troops were transported to Crimea in 2014, in addition to the 15,000 already stationed legally on the peninsula. This was known and publicly documented long before Putin's announcement. The historical fact is that they were not used as an occupying force, aside from several isolated incidents involving silent standoffs and the blocking of a few military bases and one administrative building in Simferopol. There was widespread enthusiasm and public commitment to a free and open referendum. By late 2014, over 90% of the Crimean population had received Russian passports via personal applications. Crimea was fully integrated into the Russian legal system, and some 2.5 million people have lived there happily ever after as an integral part of Russia. I am not a lawyer, but as far as I know, General Assembly resolutions are not legally binding. UN General Assembly Resolution 68/262 neither provides historical facts regarding the public referendum, nor does it constitute international law by itself; rather, it offers an interpretation, and a rather conflicting one, because it contradicts Article 1.2 of the United Nations Charter “to develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace”. --Argenberg (talk) 00:01, 13 October 2026 (UTC)reply

Nor does the absence of widespread armed resistance mean that no occupation took place. The referendum's validity and the legality of the change in sovereignty are separate from the question of how the population subsequently adapted to Russian rule. Self-determination cannot be considered in isolation from territorial integrity and the prohibition on the use of force. My point remains that describing Crimea as occupied Ukrainian territory is supported by the circumstances of its takeover and the international response, not merely by a political proclamation. For me, it is great as it is because it puts me into a solemn, meditative, yet analytical mood where one can appreciate the textures and colors of the rocks and shrubs against the sea backdrop. With the sun setting or rising, it would be just one of many cliche photos with sunset hues washing over everything, hiding the texture, flattening the colors. The Minbar (where the imam make the Friday sermon) too is seen here and those tow items are surrounded with the most beautiful roman columns that are reused from roman temples to build the mosque in 670AD. The tile surroundin the mihrab are the oldest in North Africa they date back to the 9th century (c. 862 CE) during the Aghlabid period. Mile, it is a very special lighting situation, and colors can be like this in shallow tropical lagoons under clouds. The original version seems too pale to me, and not “true”. But I made a new version with the vibrance lowered to just +15. That is a very modest value for sensors from the late 2000s. Olympus used Sony sensors in their cameras.
