Five typefaces with character for packaging, shop signs, posters and wayfinding. See them in use before you pick yours.

Sans serif typeface
A chunky, soft-cut sans serif. Made for shop signs, labels, packaging and headlines that need to be seen from across the street.

Slab serif typeface
The same heft and softness, now with slab serifs. For boxes, menus and posters, wherever a headline needs to stand firm.

Typeface with blurred edges
A softened take on Bakerman Sans. Rounded corners give every letter a subtle blurred look, good for packaging and short, loud headlines.

Geometric sans serif typeface
Ghid means guide in Romanian. A geometric sans serif that grew out of public signage and directional markers: legible up close and from a distance. 22 fonts from Hairline to Black, with italics and a variable version.

An inelegant font
A deliberately ugly font, built from three letters painted on the facade of the MPK building in Częstochowa. No lowercase, no kerning, no hinting. Free.
Licences for Bakerman and Ghid are available on MyFonts. eMPeKa is a free download from its page.
