We build platforms that increase the pace at which humanity can grow its collective intelligence. This includes knowledge sharing among humans (Quora) and collaboration among humans and all kinds of AI (Poe). By focusing at the platform level, we are not creating knowledge or intelligence ourselves, but instead we focus on the most leveraged place for impact: removing friction and unlocking the potential in what everyone else has already learned, created, or trained. The more we enable collaborative thinking between humans, and between humans and AI, the faster ideas will diffuse, the faster technology will advance, and the faster the economy will grow. Our ultimate goal is to accelerate the ability for humanity as a whole, along with all artificial intelligence, to share knowledge, create technology, and work together to solve problems.

In 2020, we adopted a remote-first model to hire exceptional talent from around the world. Today, we continue to recruit across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia (see full list here). To make this work well, we've intentionally designed how we operate, enabling us to stay fully remote even as many companies return to the office, either full time or in a hybrid model.
We rely on dedicated "coordination hours" to enable effective collaboration across time zones. Our daily coordination hours run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Of course, teammates work much more than these hours to deliver impact, but there is flexibility in when and how you get that work done. Whether you're working from home, traveling, or making use of our Coworking Space Program, you'll be part of a truly international community that values impact, teamwork, and the freedom to do challenging and meaningful work from wherever you can be the most productive.

To allow you to shine during the hiring process, we incorporate role-specific practical tasks (such as coding challenges, presentations, or mock scenarios) into our evaluation process. This will allow you to demonstrate your unique skills and expertise and ensure a more relaxed and relevant assessment experience.
By focusing on the practical skills required for each role, we're able to identify if we're a match for each other, regardless of your background or traditional credentials.
Our virtual onsites typically occur over one or two days. During your onsite, you will meet a wide range of interviewers from across the company in a series of interviews. This stage allows you to showcase all aspects of your skills and gives you insight on how you will be working day-to-day.
Following your final onsite interview, if you successfully progress to the next stage, you'll have the chance to connect with your future colleagues to answer any last minute questions or concerns. This final stage of the process provides you with a deeper understanding of the company culture and facilitates a seamless transition into your new role should you accept our offer.
