It was interesting to see the DDR5-7000 DIMMs not performing as well... Or at least these CMK48GX5M2B7000C40 DDR5-7000 CL40 DIMMs specifically.

Xcompact3d Incompact3d benchmark with settings of Input: input.i3d 193 Cells Per Direction. 2 x 16GB DDR5-8000 Corsair CMH32GX5M2X8000C36 was the fastest.
OpenFOAM benchmark with settings of Input: drivaerFastback, Small Mesh Size, Execution Time. 2 x 16GB DDR5-8000 Corsair CMH32GX5M2X8000C36 was the fastest.
OpenFOAM benchmark with settings of Input: drivaerFastback, Medium Mesh Size, Execution Time. 2 x 16GB DDR5-8000 Corsair CMH32GX5M2X8000C36 was the fastest.

For those working on HPC or technical computing workloads from their desktop and eyeing an Intel Arrow Lake processor for its higher physical core counts, the DDR5-8000 memory is working out quite well.

OpenRadioss benchmark with settings of Model: Chrysler Neon 1M. 2 x 24GB DDR5-8000 Corsair CMP48GX5M2X8000C38 was the fastest.

And the other important takeaway with the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z890 HERO motherboard is the new 0806 BIOS working out much better than prior releases.
