OpenAPV video encoding was coming out slightly faster on Fedora 44 Beta than Fedora 43. Here it's possible the gains are due to the GCC 16 compiler used by default with Fedora 44 compared to GCC 15 on Fedora 43.

SVT-AV1 benchmark with settings of Encoder Mode: Preset 3, Input: Bosphorus 4K. Fedora 43 was the fastest.
SVT-AV1 benchmark with settings of Encoder Mode: Preset 8, Input: Bosphorus 4K. Fedora 43 was the fastest.

In other open-source video encoders like SVT-AV1, no performance difference was observed there.
