On Google Sheets, when you accept a “Convert to table” suggestion, Gemini automatically formats your data as a table and gives it a name. For example, “Project_Status.” You can accept, edit or delete the suggested name.
Generate table names
- On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets.
- Click on a table range.
- If it appears, click Convert to table
.
- At the top left of the table, you can find the table name that Gemini created for you.
- Optional: To edit or delete the suggested name, next to it, click on the table name or click Table menu
