Set up parental supervision for new accounts

You can add your child’s account on your Chromebook and set up parental supervision. To set up supervision to their account, you have to add their account first.

Add your child’s account to your Chromebook

1. If you're signed in to your Chromebook, sign out.
2. At the bottom, select Add person.
3. On the "Choose your setup" screen, select For a child Next.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Tip: If your child doesn't have an account, you can create a Google Account.

Set up supervision on your child's Chromebook

1. On your child's Chromebook, open Settings .
2. Under "Accounts," next to "Parental Controls," select Set up.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
   • As part of the setup process, your child needs to give their consent.
